Quick Guide for Faculty
How to Log In
1. Type https://cc.ivytech.edu in your web browser
and press ENTER.
2. Click the First Time Users link to set up your
account and establish your password.
3. Enter your name, birth-date, zip code and last 4
SSN or your Banner ID (C#). You must enter the
information as it appears on your employment
application.
4. Your new Campus Connect username will be
displayed. Enter a password for your account. It
must be at least 8 digits long and should contain a
mix of letters and numbers.
Navigating Campus Connect
Here are a few of the things you’ll find inside:
Home tab: Quick links, My Ivy Tech, news and
announcements, and the college calendar.
Library tab: online resources via the Virtual Library.
Help/How-To tab: access the Helpdesk website
including troubleshooting and how-to guides
Faculty Services tab: reference materials, adjunct
faculty information and resources, and general
education core for transfer programs.
5. Enter answers for at least 3 security questions.
You would be prompted to answer these
questions if you get locked out of your account.
Employee Services tab: Benefit information,
handbooks, manuals, and the training portal.
6. Click the link to log in to Campus Connect using
your new username and password.
Email, calendar & groups icons are located in the
upper right side of the screen.
Quick Links
1. The Quick Links channel contains links to the most
commonly used online resources for faculty and
employees:
Always click the Logout button in the upper right
when you are finished.
My Ivy Tech
The My Ivy Tech channel on the Home tab contains
faculty and employee links for the following items:








Class List
Course Search
Student Transcripts
Grades
Faculty Schedule
Pay stubs
Leave information (vacation hours, sick hours, etc)
Update personal information (address, phone,
emergency contacts)
Many more items are available under My Ivy Tech by
clicking the …more options link.

Quick Guide for Faculty Blackboard
Blackboard is Ivy Tech’s online course management
system that can be used by both distance and oncampus classes.
To access Blackboard, log in to Campus Connect
and click the Blackboard link in the Quick Links
channel.
Infonet
Infonet is the statewide repository for:

Calendars

Committees

Forms

Policies & Procedures

Who’s Who
To access Infonet, log in to Campus Connect and click
the Infonet link in the Quick Links channel.
Update Your
Whitepages Profile
1. Your personal profile is displayed through Ivy
Tech’s online Whitepages when a user clicks
your name.
2. To update your profile, log in to Campus
Connect and click Campus Connect Profile
Manager in the Quick Links channel.
3. Enter your Campus Connect username and
password to log in to the Profile Manager.
4. In the Profile Manager you can update anything
that has an edit link beside it, including:







Display name
Phone number
Fax number
Room number
Home page
Biography
Photo
Personalize your content
1. Click the Content/Layout link in the upper left of
your screen.
2. Click the arrow buttons to
move a channel.
3. Click the X button to delete
a channel.
4. Click
to add additional content to your
personal Campus Connect account.
5. Choose channels from the News and Fun Stuff
categories to further personalize your content.
Helpdesk
If you need assistance with Campus Connect or any of
our online services, the Helpdesk can assist you.
5. Information that does not have an edit link
beside it is maintained automatically by Banner
and can only be changed by Human
Resources.
The fastest way to get assistance is to submit a
problem ticket. You will find a link to submit a ticket on
the Campus Connect login page at https://cc.ivytech.edu.
