Terra Creta SA visits Drexel University, PA, USA (May 2011) Terra Creta’s product innovation, business model and export orientation were the main criteria for selecting the company to participate in the specialized course "Mediterranean Economy Regional Studies in Economic Policy & International Business" conducted at LeBow College of Business/International Business Dept- Greek Studies Program of Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA USA. This is a unique course, in US business schools, inspired by Dr. Maria Hnaraki and conducted by Adjunct Faculty Theodore Katerinakis, in which CEOs from diverse Greek companies/organizations are presenting their cases to close to senior-year students. Terra Creta presented its philosophy and strategy towards international markets focusing on its penetration in USA market; Terra Creta’s products are already listed in major retailers like Whole Foods Markets, Harris Teeter, Meijer’s and HEB. Students were attracted by the olive oil tasting session, the innovative packaging, and the market analysis data while very much appreciated Terra Creta’s olive oil samples.
