Day 3 Dornier & Zeppelin Museum
This day is dedicated to the aeronautic
history of Germany. The two concepts:
“lighter than air” (Count Zeppelin) and
“heavier than Air” (Claude Dornier)
are presented in their own museums.
At the Dornier-Museum numerous
historical aircraft, including legendary
classics such as the Do 27, the Do
Merkur and the Do 31 vertical takeoff craft, are on display. Stroll through
the exhibits at the Zeppelin Museum
to take in the Zeppelin zeitgeist. The
Museum also hosts the most prominent
art collection from the Lake Constance
area covering the last 500 years.
