Guest Speaker: Woody Morwood
Woody Morwood, Azusa Pacific University's Lead Campus Pastor, has been involved in student
ministries for 21 years. He desires to live a life devoted to intentional RELATIONSHIPS; with God,
Scripture, and the people with whom he gets to do life with here and now. In his passion to be a
lifelong learner, Woody has earned his Doctor of Ministry at APU.
Woody Morwood has been involved in young adult and student ministries since 1992 in both the local
church and university setting. His primary role at APU is being involved in the lives of undergraduate
students.Woody is all about relationships with God, His Word, and the people he finds himself in community with, and his passion is to encourage and challenge undergraduate students to grow deeply as
disciples. He preaches periodically in morning chapel and regularly at Wednesday night Kaleo chapel,
and leads a small group, a SALT team, and continually meets with students for pastoral counseling and support. Woody also has
the amazing privilege of working with the great staff in the Offices of the Campus Pastors and Chapel Programs in order to foster
an overall spiritual climate on campus. His greatest joys in life are his family (wife Juli, children Kyla and Ryan, and their Labrador

PURPOSE:
1. To challenge student leaders to exercise leadership that is thoroughly Christian.
2. To encourage middle school students to equip themselves for leadership positions in their schools.
3. To bring Christian school leaders and sponsors together to meet one another, share ideas and experiences, and learn
from one another.
WHO'S INVITED:
1. Students who are in the 6th-8th grade.
2. Students who hold leadership positions, show leadership potential, or who have good Christian character and need encouragement in attempting leadership roles.

Noted below is a general format of the conference. (A final schedule will be given when you arrive at the conference). You
can easily see that it is a good balance of instruction, fellowship and spiritual challenge.
