What is Beauty?
Today you will participate in a webquest in search of a definition of “beauty.” The sites
you will visit are credible sites. On a separate sheet of paper, keep a log of what you
learn about beauty, including quotes you feel are powerful in helping you define the term.
Include the citation information you will need for you works cited page. Remember that
there are three views of beauty: cultural, scientific, and philosophic. You will be
working with a group on one of the views. Your goal is to find a definition of beauty
from your assigned viewpoint. Here are the suggested sites, but use any that you feel are
credible and valuable for this assignment. Be sure to find quotes from at least 3 different
ones that you will use in your definition essay.
