Avoid getting nervous in the interview. Don’t be dragged into talking about your criminal background. Do not put on the application “Will explain in the interview.” Why would you want to talk about your criminal history in the interview anyway? Do research on the company and the job you are applying for. Find out from the employer their policy on hiring individuals with a criminal background.
When you are well prepared and know some things about the company you won’t be so nervous. Job searching is a job in itself.
There are lots of other things that you can do to avoid nervousness but I will explain in my workshop series coming soon.
