It is not required that you complete the TCU Core Curriculum before you
transfer to TCU, only before you graduate. All courses are individually
assessed for application to the TCU Core Curriculum. Course equivalency is
subject to change. Updated December 2014.
PLEASE NOTE
• Other transferable classes will be considered elective credit unless
approved for a major requirement by your academic department
• The nine Humanities units includes three units from Literary Traditions,
and three units from Religious Traditions.
• History courses in BOLD can also fulfill CORE requirements in either Social
Science or Humanities.

Students must complete their application and submit A2 (HESI) test scores by this date for
admission to TCU and for Summer Accelerated Nursing Clinical consideration. Decisions will be
sent mid-March. The Accelerated Nursing Program requires that all prerequisites are complete
prior to the start of the program, and that the applicant have a bachelor degree.

The Traditional Nursing Program requires that all prerequisites are complete prior to the
start of the program. Important Note: The Accelerated Nursing Program and the Standard
Nursing Program require that all prerequisites are complete prior to the start of the program.
If your prerequisites are not complete but you wish to pursue a degree in nursing, please
select a different deadline below and then select the Nursing Prerequisite major later in the
application.
Students whose applications are complete by December 1 will receive an admission decision
by December 15. Applications completed after December 1 will be considered on a spaceavailable basis.
Students whose applications are complete by April 15 will receive an admission decision by
June 1; academic scholarship recipients will receive award notification by July 1.
Students whose applications are complete by August 1 will receive an admission decision by
August 15; All students who apply by the Final Deadline will be considered for scholarship until
funds are depleted.
