Competition Overview
Brock Finance & Investment Group is excited to present its first ever stock pitch competition. Students will
showcase their analytical skills though the development of a one page equity research report and a 10 minute
presentation. The intense competition is designed to replicate the fast-paced, demanding experience of
fundamental analysts in the real world. No prior investment experience is necessarily needed, but contestants
are encouraged to seek out faculty, professionals and other students to provide insight. Finalists will be paired
up with a mentor working in the industry to offer guidance and feedback. The first place student or team will
be awarded a $500 grand prize.
Registration as a participant: www.brockfinance.com/pitch
Register as a spectator: Register through the BFIG website. Spectators will have the opportunity to network
with industry professionals. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
What the Mentoring Program is Aiming to Accomplish
The objective of the mentoring program is to educate Goodman students entering the capital market industry
and equip them with the tools to launch their careers. Mentors will review and offer feedback to students on
their investment summary report and presentation slide deck. This will be accomplished through a series of 2
phone call meetings with the students between the dates of February 24 - March 13.
