Go to the web links for one or more of the 16 participating Rugby Sevens countries in the table above to learn more about their geography, flag, history, government, area, population, capital, largest cities, languages, ethnicity, religion, literacy rate and economy. 2. Design a project (e.g. poster, PowerPoint presentation, other ICT) to share information with your class about one of the 16 participating Rugby Sevens countries. Use some of the information from the country profile web links. 3. Compare and contrast the similarities and differences between Australia and one of the other Rugby Sevens countries. You could use a table to record your research findings or you could create a drawing or other visual text showing similarities and differences. Share your findings with your class. 4. Develop 10 questions to ask one of the 16 participating Rugby Sevens teams about their culture, language and beliefs; and about how they think their national identity has been shaped. 5. Create a support banner for one of the 16 participating Rugby Sevens teams which includes a message of support (including your school emblem), their country’s flag and/or national emblem, and a Rugby Sevens illustration.
