Continued Case 588-13 (FedEx) is a variance request for height of lighting and fencing for a trailer
parking use approved under BZA 586-13, located at 3185 Columbia Road, parcels number 48-01979 &
48-01534 in a Light Industrial-Office (LI-O) district.
Continued Case 589-13 (CJ Zak Co.) is a conditional use request to locate a commercial operation
involving operation, parking and maintenance of vehicles in a Light Industrial-Office (LI-O) district, on
a leased site utilizing portions of parcels number 48-01290, 48-01259 and 48-02322.
NEW BUSINESS:
Case 590-13 (FedEx) is a request a building addition to a Distribution Center with a variance for height
of fencing and a continuation of variances granted in BZA 512-04 for a property located in a Light
Industrial-Office district at 3245 Henry Road, parcel number 48-00408.

SUMMIT COUNTY:
Summit County Planning Commission meetings are held on the 7th floor of the Ohio Building, located at
175 South Main Street, Akron, OH 44308. The next meeting is scheduled for June 27, 2013, 3:00 p.m.
Richfield Township has a request for extension of the Briarwood Estates Preliminary Plan on the
agenda.
Richfield Township has submitted proposed amendments for reorganizing and updating the zoning
regulations. Due to the extensive nature of the request, the SCPC anticipates reviewing the proposal
over 2-3 meetings and comments & recommendations are not anticipated until the August 22, 2013
meeting.
