Create a spoke diagram like the one below. Your spoke diagram will show pictures of
the characteristics of civilization from both Sumerian times and modern times. You’ll
then compare the characteristics of civilization from ancient and modern eras.
PROJECT COMPONENTS:
 Glue or draw two pictures for each characteristic; one representing ancient
Sumer and the other representing the modern day United States.
 Choose four characteristics and write a comparison of the characteristics. In
a few sentences, describe how the characteristics of civilization were similar or
different in ancient and modern times. In your descriptions:
