The Seven Chairs By Danielle Hardy “Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha” cackled the creepy which. “Badibeee, badibooo, badibiii, make these chairs go bye-bye!” barked the witch. And in the blink of an eye, she waved her magic wand over seven splintery brown wooden chairs cursed for whoever sat on them. They flew off to where ever the engraving said. One went to Tokyo, Japan. Venice, Italy was next. Sit on the chair without the arms to go Brasília, Brazil. Berlin, Germany is where you’d end up if you chose the one with the strange mark on the arm. If you want to go to Paris, France, sit on the chair with the messed up paint accident on the back. Sit on the some-what smooth chair to go to Beijing, China. And go to Moscow, Russia, if you sat on the seventh chair. Back at home in England, at the Deplome Mansion, Alexandra Deplome-a mother of eight, told each of her kids NOT to sit on the chairs they were getting on Friday. Alexandra told Josh, one of her most elegant kids. She told George, Percy, and Misty all at once because they would throw a tantrum even if ones gone for fifteen minutes. Missy was told to repeat what Alexandra had said since she was her most rotten kid she ever had. Riley agreed to everything her mother said. Barry adores reading, so, when Alexandra told him not to, he just said “Sure, fine, whatever,” and went back to reading his book. But when she said “Do NOT sit on those chairs, Alex. Do you understand?” to Alex he was saying “Ok! I promise I won’t sit on those chairs!” And he meant it. “Hey guys!” said Josh to George, Percy, and Misty. “What?””What?””What?” said George, Percy, and Misty, also known as T.G.T. (The Group of Three.) for short. “So guys, you know those chairs, how about we sit on ‘em?” said Josh. “Um, well, Ok!” thought George. “Well, if George is going to do it, then so am I!” shouted Percy. “Hey, don’t leave me out!” announced Misty. “Let’s get the other guys suggested Percy. “Missy!””Riley!””Barry!” shouted T.G.T. Josh knew to leave Alex out because Alex would tell on them faster than the speed of light. “So guys, the chairs are here and I took the instructions,” Said Riley. “Well, let’s not waste any time” exclaimed Josh. “These chairs are yours to keep. They will build themselves. But if you look on the back you will find were they go,” read Barry. “What does that mean?” questioned Misty. “I don’t know, But I Want to know!” answered Barry wonderingly. “So let’s open the box!” There was a strange noise that sounded like a zipper as the box. Then, a strange light emerged from the box and the seven chairs appeared in a line so strait there wasn’t one thing out of place, not even a molecule. One night Josh, T.G.T., Misty, Riley, and Barry sat on the chairs. “Whoosh “ went the first chair with Josh to Tokyo, Japan. “Whoosh” went the next chair with George to Venice, Italy. Percy sat on chair three, the one without arms, and went to Brasília, Brazil. Misty was scared because George and Percy were gone and-“Whoosh” she was off to Berlin, Germany. Now Missy looked on the back of her chair and saw the number “5” and the word “Paris, F-----“ Missy did not see the rest of “France” before she fell forward and landed in the chair “Ah-“ and Missy was off sooner than you could think. Riley fell asleep since her chair was so soft and smooth. “Weeeaaahhh!” screamed Barry as he made his trip to Moscow, Russia. “Moooooom!” shrieked Alex. “What?!” Alexandra said panicked. “Everybody’s gone! And the box to the chairs is open!” “Oh no!” said Alexandra. She plopped on the floor. “Mom, mom?” Asked Alex warily. Alex knew he had to save his family, especially T.G.T. Alex ran to get $500.00 for all of his trips. Alex went to the airport, instructions in hand, money in the other. “One ride to Tokyo, Japan.” Said Alex to his family’s jet captain. “That’ll be $62.02” replied the captain. “OK.” Said Alex handing over the money. Alex landed in Tokyo and purchased a Japanese/English translation book. Alex went to Tokyo Central and saw Josh on top of the Tokyo Tower. So Alex went to get free ladder rentals and went as high as you could go. “Hey thanks!” said Josh. “Let’s go to George in Venice, Italy now.” ordered Alex. Alex spent the next seven days visiting Brasília, Brazil to save Percy, Berlin, Germany to save Missy, and Paris, France to save Misty. Alex, Josh, T.G.T. and Misty went to Beijing, China and Moscow, Russia to save Riley and Barry. “Mom, we’re home!” said Barry like nothing ever happened. “Good” replied Alexandra. “Well, go to bed kiddos.” “Night” said everyone all at once.
