What is HATS?
HATS (High Achieving Talented Students) is an enrichment program sponsored by
Stetson University. We are proud to provide outstanding students with summer
opportunities to enhance their educational experiences. HATS Summer Programs are
divided into three age groups: HATS I for students completing grades 3-6 and HATS II
for students completing grades 6-12 and the BERETS (Beginning Enrichment
Recognizing Emerging TalentS) for students completing grades K-2.
Who is eligible?
Students in grades K-12 who participate in gifted programs and/or have scored at or
above the 95th percentile on any subject area on the FCAT, ITBS, CTBS or
standardized test.
When are classes held?
In June and July. Dates vary by location. All classes run Monday -Friday, 9:00-3:30.

What is the cost?
Classes are $260 each session.
We offer a $225 per class discount for students attending both weeks and a
$225 per class sibling discount for any session.
