How to use a Money Network Check
Oakwood's ADP TotalPay program offers Money Network Checks to employees that currently do
not have (or want) a checking account. Money Network Checks allow employees the flexibility and
cost benefits of electronic pay without having a bank account. Use the Checks to pay bills,
eliminate money order fees or write one out to yourself to access and withdraw cash from your
account.
With your ADP TotalPay Check or Card, you'll have immediate access to your full pay on payday
morning – even if you're not at work.

Step 1: Start by writing in today’s date (see example)
Step 2: Write the name of the person or company receiving your check on the line that
starts with “Pay to the order of.”
Note: To cash the check yourself, write your own name in this location.
Step 3: Write the numerical dollar amount of the check in the small space that starts with a
dollar sign ($), such as $41.35. (see example)
Step 4: Write the same amount using words for whole dollar amounts and a fractional
figure for amounts less than a dollar, and a straight line to fill up the remaining
space.
Example: $41.35 would be written out as “Forty-one dollars and 35/100”.

Step 5: Call 1-888-913-0900 to access your account.
Step 6: Press 1 to select Money Network Service.
Step 7: Using the keypad, enter the Money Network Check number plus the number in the
box-marked digit. (see example)
Step 8: Next, enter the amount of the check (without the decimal) and press #.
Example: 41 dollars and 35 cents would be entered as 4 1 3 5.
Step 9: Write down the Issuer Number and Transaction Number in the designated areas on
the Money Network Check. (see example)

at no additional cost. Cash your Check for free at any
