Core Content Review of Family
Medicine (print version) 2016 has
been reviewed and is acceptable
for up to 60 Prescribed credits by
the American Academy of Family
Physicians. Term of approval is for
one year from beginning distribution
date of 01/01/16. Each individual
issue is approved for 10 Prescribed
credits.
AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted
by both the AAPA and the AMA.
When applying for the AMA PRA,
Prescribed credit hours earned must
be reported as Prescribed hours, not
as category 1.

The Core Content Review of Family Medicine
features questions with corresponding
in-depth discussions covering 45 different
topic categories of family medicine/primary
care. The printed version is presented in 6
Question/Discussion booklet sets delivered
over a 12-month period. Each set of booklets
include 75 multiple choice questions/discussions and one full clinical scenario. Every
issue features topic indexing.
Electronic Versions
A comprehensive collection of Core Content
Review Question/Discussion sets and Clinical Set Problems, updated from the Review’s
July 2014 through May 2015 print versions,
is now available in two electronic formats.
This interactive electronic course, available
both as an Online course or on a Flash Drive,
addresses 45 different topic categories and
provides a practical means to refresh and
strengthen your knowledge base in preparation for Board and Maintenance of Certification. The Electronic Versions are approved
for 60 Prescribed credits by the AAFP.
Online
The Online course is accessed via our website www.CoreContent.com. Subscribers
will have a unique username and password
to access the course. The course provides
automatic score tracking and can be accessed
from any computer with Internet access.
Registration Information
Flash Drive
The Flash Drive contains the same exact
content as the Online course but does not
require Internet access. Scoring is saved
locally on your hard drive so using the course
on multiple computers in not recommended.
You may begin the Core Content
Review in any one of the six months
which Core is published: January,
March, May, July, September or
November. The course is completed
over a 12 month period, with booklets are mailed every other month to
allow for a more balanced study time
frame.
You may also purchase past editions
of the Review’s print version to help
you prepare for your Board Certification or Maintenance of Certification.

Upon receipt of the product you will
have access to the full course. Online accounts are active for one year
from date of purchase and will be
activated within two business days of
purchase. Renewing subscribers will
continue to have access to previously
