-In Bullet format write why the cadet deserves this award. Use statistics, such as numbers of
hours they worked or how many people they impacted because they are easier to quantify and
compare. They also stand out more. This cadet should be nominated for his impact on the
squadron, NOT for what they are doing on the area or national level. The member should also not
be nominated by their involvement anywhere besides Arnold Air, just for what they have
contributed to the squadron. Ie: Try to leave ROTC involvement out of the awards

Things to think about when choosing a photo:
-Make sure nothing inappropriate is in the photo. Alcohol, offensive material or clothing, illegal activities will NOT be
tolerated or put on the National Website.
- Make sure it’s not completely unflattering – This photo will go on the front page of the National Website!
- Make sure you can clearly tell who is the award recipient so that the person isn’t super small or in a group
- Make sure to attach the original file of the photo to be uploaded to the website!
