Order of the Spur
Let it be known,
That with saber and carbine in hand and having successfully
demonstrated those traits associated with all accomplished Cavalry Troopers
of the United States of America; SKILL, COURAGE, TENACITY, CUNNING, AND FERVOR
is hereby dubbed a Knight and entered into the grand and noble rolls of the Order of the Spur,
which entitles this Trooper to wear a pair of silver spurs from this day evermore.
Given under my hand on the frontier of Fort Hood, Texas.
