Veterinary Technology Program Prior to acceptance into the Veterinary Technology Program, a student must have completed the following General Education college courses with a “C” or better. Courses may be completed at any post-secondary institution. For courses to qualify for the Associates degree in Veterinary Technology through Mountwest Community and Technical College (MCTC), they must be accepted and successfully transferred to MCTC. Program Overview The Veterinary Technology program at Collins Career Technical Center is a two year program. Students have a summer break during the month of July. Students graduate each year and are awarded a Certificate of Completion upon successful completion of the program.
