process. A product is designed to fit
a market (or group of people) who
will consider buying it. A good product often shows improvements on
past versions.
Example: A can of coke.
What is a brand?
A trademark or distinctive
name identifying a product or
a manufacturer. Most brands
have a name, logo and slogan.
Example: Coke logo and
slogan.
The commercial processes involved in promoting,
selling and distributing a product or service;
"most companies have a manager in charge of
marketing" Example: Posters, adverts, displays,
radio adverts, t.v adverts etc
Step 1: Product Design
In the box below draw and label your design for a new product that can be used within
the home. Be imaginative and creative. Fill in the following questions about your design.

Step 3: Product Packaging
Design the box you product will sit on the shelves in. The following items must appear on

layout.
