corporate membership benefits Mission The International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit association whose mission is to create, preserve and enhance great mountain biking experiences. IMBA’s staff, chapters, clubs and members work to benefit the entire mountain bike community: We create a POWERFUL VOICE for trails, public land and policies that welcome bikes. We BUILD sustainable trails and bike facilities to make mountain biking more accessible. We TEACH environmentally responsible trail building and trail etiquette practices. We INSPIRE more people to experience the outdoors on bicycles. Top Reasons To Join Joining is smart. Joining is right. Joining is easy. JOINING IMBA IS AN INVESTMENT IN THE FUTURE OF YOUR BUSINESS IMBA’s combination of successful programs, proven strategies and powerful partnerships creates more riding opportunities for everyone to enjoy. From novice cyclists to experienced mountain bikers, the singletrack trails, bike parks and other facilities we create directly support the bicycling and outdoor industries. MTB is a Gateway Sport: Research published by the Outdoor Foundation illustrates that mountain biking is one of the top three activities that draws youth into an active, outdoor lifestyle. IMBA works to grow the sport through youth rides, urban bike parks and beginner-friendly trails that help riders get hooked and build their skills. IMBA Leverages Your Support: IMBA leverages each donation with government, foundation and individual member support, typically tripling the value of corporate contributions. For every dollar donated to IMBA, 88 cents are spent on advocacy and trail building programs. Supporting IMBA is Affordable: Corporate membership dues start at $300 a year, or 82 cents a day. Dues are scaled to a company’s annual sales. All donations are tax deductible as allowed by the IRS. When everyone gives a little, much more can be accomplished.
