Career Statement:
At present I am teaching “Film & TV Production Courses” in Punjab University
Lahore in Mass Comm Dept as a Lecturer with an administrative duties. I done my
Masters in Media & Film Production, at Sheffield Hallam University U.K (2008).
During my master course I directed & produced short films. For my thesis project I have
directed & produced a short film “Vani” (37 mins) which is based on women rights in
Pakistan. Also my film “Vani” has been selected in international film festivals.
I have a 2 year working experience in PTV (Pakistan Television) and assist different
programs with senior producers.
I have a 6 years teaching experience of Urdu Literature. I worked as a full-time & part-time
teacher i n well -known Ins titutes li ke P unjab U niversity, Bea con House, S carsdale
International S chool Defence L ahore, Lahor e Grammar S chool Defence and D ivisional
Public School Model Town, Lahore. I teach Media, Film & TV Production courses to BS &
MA Classes. Urdu Literature and Drama from class to O` Levels & American High School
System. I have also sufficient experience in extra curricular activities. I have direct, produce,
re-write and designed costumes of Urdu Classic plays.
