Letter from the PTA President
Good evening and welcome to Raise The Roof: a rockin’ fundraiser for Bradford
School! The members of the Raise the Roof Committee are delighted that you could attend this important event and thank you for supporting the PTA’s fundraising efforts.
Money raised from tonight’s event will go toward purchasing items on our teachers’
wish lists. Items on the wish lists are educational tools that will be used directly in the
classroom for years to come. Our fundraising goal for tonight is to raise $15,000. This
amount will allow the PTA to allocate $500 to every classroom teacher at Bradford for
their wish list items.
Your enthusiastic bids on our great auction items will help us reach our goal. Thank you to all of the Bradford parents and teachers who donated all of these fabulous items. I would like to extend a special thank you to Cathi Flanagan, PTA Fundraising Chair, Sheila Harrington-Phariss and Connie Looby, Auction Committee
Co-Chairs, Luisa Esposito, Julie Margolis and Eileen Kavanagh, Food and Beverage

Raffles
Help Bradford raise money by purchasing a raffle ticket for only $20. Sixty percent of the proceeds will go to Bradford’s Raise the Roof fund and the following prizes will be awarded to three lucky winners:
l Two first prize winners will each receive 20% of the raffle proceeds. l One 2nd place winner will receive 4 front row seats to Bradford’s Spring
Concert (May 27th) PLUS VIP parking at 15 Brainard Street (generously donated by Izzy and Andrew Povich).
You can purchase tickets anytime up to and during the Raise the Roof event. The winning tickets will be drawn tonight at 9:30 p.m. You do not need to be present to win.
Silent Auction Information
Next to each auction item is a bid sheet. Simply enter the bidder number
that was assigned to you and your bid amount on the bid sheet. Please bid in
the increments indicated on the bid sheets displayed with the auction items.
The auction will close out by section. A ten-minute warning will be announced. At the final announcement, the bid sheets of that section will be collected and the highest bidder will be declared the winner. Winners will be
posted.
Payment Information
All sales are final. Payment in full must be made by cash, check, MasterCard
or Visa following the close of the auction. Checks should be made out to Bradford PTA.
All auction items must be removed from Bangz Salon on Saturday night,
April 10th.
