through Philam Foundation. Established in 1997,
Philam Foundation envisions an educated nation

Foundation mobilizes the resources of member

o Life Save – a 10-year comprehensive protection plan that pays the entire amount of
life insurance coverage if the insured is diagnosed with critical illness, terminal illness,
or disability. It also has a "no claim" feature that returns 50% of all payments made
after 10 years if there are no claims for the benefits above.
o Life Save Plus - a comprehensive life, health, and savings plan-in-one with 100%
cash back benefit. It provides lifetime protection, savings for retirement plus health and
accident fund during the client's prime working years. It also returns all premiums paid
after 20 years and still provides continuous coverage.
o Bright Future Plus – an education and life insurance plan-in-one that guarantees a
child’s college education by providing increasing semestral benefits and life insurance
protection.
o Health 100 – the country’s first health insurance product with a comprehensive range
of living benefits up to age 100.
o Vanguard 100 – a limited-pay, customizable, whole-life protection plan that provides
coverage until the age of 100.
o Abundance Plus – a unique investment product that provides capital returns and
insurance coverage, which can be increased anytime.
o Build and Protect – a savings and life insurance plan-in-one that offers affordable
premiums, short payment period, and early maturity at 15 years while providing life
insurance coverage.
o Group Cancer Life Insurance program – an added inclusion to the existing HMO
insurance coverage packages offered by employer-sponsored HMOs, making cancer
protection more accessible and affordable to the average working Filipino. This is
available through partner HMOs - Intellicare, Maxicare, Philcare, and Valucare.
o Growth Invest - a six-year peso investment and life insurance plan-in-one that allows
one to invest in the growth of four growth sectors: agribusiness, energy, China equities

This 2011, Philam Foundation focuses its programs on health and education. It has
embarked on a project called “Philam Paaralan,” which seeks to improve the quality of
education in the Philippines through the construction of classrooms in underprivileged
communities including typhoon-devastated provinces. Eight classrooms with restrooms
were constructed in the initial phase of the project, which benefitted four schools in
Isabela province. Health and hygiene modules will also be incorporated into the over-all
program.
Philam Foundation has also partnered with the Philippine Red Cross in conducting a
regular blood donation program at the Philam Life head office and select branch offices.
By mobilizing its employees, agents, and the general public, Philam Life helps ensure
regular blood supply for Red Cross.
