As the games industry in the Middle East has grown and
evolved over the past decade, video game development
and game localization aimed at the Middle Eastern
market remains a tremendous opportunity. As the result
of the game industry’s growth, the International Game
Developers Association - IGDA Middle East has been
established recently. IGDA Middle East local chapter
aims at providing the game development industry
across the Middle East region a platform to connect and
collaborate, and to generally work towards the nurture
and improvement of the industry as a whole.
It was a pleasure to return to the amazing
city of Dubai for the Dubai World Game Expo.
DWGE is the regions premier video game
