support to get this group going and will ask for volunteers to help organize future meetings
and topics.
Who Should Attend? - Users, Developers and Administrators of any of the tools in the IBM
InfoSphere Information Server platform especially DataStage, QualityStage and Information
Analyzer users including version 7.5 users who are planning a move to version 8.x

Speaker BIOs
Glenn Weidner - Advisory Software Engineer, Silicon Valley Laboratory, CA. Joined IBM
DataStage development team in 2005 and is currently technical lead for Information Server
Manager v8.5 source control integration. Hobbies include spending time with his family
including 9-year old son.
Tony Curcio – Product Manager for DataStage and Information Services Director (ISD),
based in Charlotte, NC, Joined Ardent Software (IBM) in 1999. Responsible for engaging with
customers and business partners and monitoring industry trends to shape product roadmap.
Hobbies include kayaking, playing Mario with his two kids and answering emails in the wee
hours of the morning.
Dan Schallenkamp - Consulting IT Specialist, based in Charlotte, NC, Joined IBM in 2001,
responsible for technical pre-sales opportunities of Information Server in North and South
Carolina. When away from the computer, Dan enjoys mountain biking, travel and
photography.

One block west of the downtown Charlotte intersection of Trade and Tryon streets. On
the 3rd floor of the Carillon Building. You will see a Morton's Steakhouse in the same
building. There is parking in a surface lot at the corner of North Poplar Street and West
Trade Street as well as deck parking in the Carillon Building, entrance on South Poplar
Street.

from I-40 take exit 280 for Davis Drive, turn right (heading North for 0.7 miles) on Davis
Drive, go through the traffic light (Cornwallis Rd.), take the immediate Right into the
driveway, proceed straight, to second parking lot. Room 110 is to the left after you go
in the main entrance.
