Checking Service (NPCS)

The National Police Checking Service (NPCS) contributes to improved community
safety by enabling access to Police History Information (PHI), with the consent of the
Applicant. The service is delivered to Australian police agencies and other
organisations who are accredited with CrimTrac, to support their processes for
assessing the suitability of people applying for employment, Australian citizenship or
appointment to positions of trust.
