Better Learning Pty Ltd Agreement
Illness

Please refrain from attending or bringing your child to Better Learning classes if you or your child is suffering from any contagious
condition. These include nervous system infections, ear infections, eye infections, gastrointestinal infections, diarrhoea, colds, cold
sores, coughs, infectious runny noses (green discharge), open sores, skin infections, rashes or feet infections.
Payment of Fees




Payment of fees for any of Better Learning’s services will be due upon the booking.
You can pay at the centre with Cash, Credit, EFTPOS , Cheque.
Payments can be made by credit card over the phone if this is more convenient for you.
Better Learning is not eligible for any Family Discount.
Missed Lessons



A missed lesson as a consequence of cancellation on behalf of Better Learning or Norwood Swim School due to unforeseen
circumstances will be refunded or credited.
A missed lesson as a consequence of cancellation on behalf of the participant will not result in eligibility for a make up lesson.
As a courtesy, Better Learning will endeavour to provide a booking during an alternate session if it is feasible.
Cancellations


A minimum of 24 hours’ notice to Better Learning or Norwood Swim School to cancel lesson attendance is required.
No refund will be given for any monies paid in advance unless a medical certificate can be provided. Refunds will be calculated from
the date Better Learning is notified at the discretion of centre management.
Mutual Respect Policy




By attending programs and events conducted by Better Learning, participants agree to follow all reasonable requests and
instructions of the authorised representatives of Better Learning and to abide by its “Mutual Respect Policy”.
Better Learning has a zero tolerance position and reserves the right to refuse an individual entry to and participation in its programs
and events, if in its opinion an individual’s conduct, behaviour, or intentions, breach this policy.
Our tutors seek to:

Welcome and respect all students regardless of age, race, gender, ethnicity, religion, personal beliefs, political affiliation,
physical abilities, or sexual orientation.
o
Teach within the boundaries of their training, competence, and experience.
o
Develop their knowledge and skills through ongoing education and study.
o
Uphold the integrity of their teaching by conducting themselves in a professional, and conscientious manner, and teaching
by personal example.
o
Respect the dignity and privacy of all students and attendees.
o
Maintain appropriate teacher/student relationship boundaries.
o
Create and maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable, environment for the practice of tutoring classes.
What we ask of students and attendees:
o
Treat Better Learning tutors and fellow attendees at Better Learning programs and events, with respect and dignity.
o
Do not engage in behaviour or conduct that is inappropriate, disturbing, disruptive, or offensive to others.
