Classes 3 and 4 covered
experimental and control groups,
observational and case study
methodologies, and the
application of these methods into
studying happiness scientifically.
Students in both sections
completed online quizzes on
these topics.
The mean number of items
answered correctly in the 4
sections covered in Fall and
Spring were 75.56%, 80.44%,
75% and 73.33%. Thus all 4
sections performed adequately on
this subjects. The 15 items on
these quiz had a range from
46.7% to 100% correct.
Student learning can be improved
by targeting the bottom third of
item performances. I will create
in-class interactions or present
media presentations on these 5
topics of the chapter.
The identified outcomes shall
continue as is, because the topic
is central to the understanding of
the entire course material.
