Overview
Operations management theory and practice has evolved and broadened to address: product
and software development, product manufacturing, service organizations, support services,
supply chains, accounting, and new management responsibilities. The new model of operations
management is lean and agile management. In response to pervasive global competition and
the increasing pace of technological change, lean and agile management is being widely
adopted in diverse companies internationally
