Year 10 Drama Lesson Plan This lesson is focussed on the key skills in Drama of strategies, mediums and elements. Students develop performance work from a stimulus. Students then write up and analyse their experience in groups and as a class. Followed by class discussion Narration Flashback Divide students into groups and present each group with story from child soldier. 10mi n Students to create a still image to capture the essence of the account. Students will incorporate mediums & elements to their work using the strategy of still image. Students present their work and discuss. Students to take image stage further by adding thought tracks for each of the characters & role play. 15mi n LINKS WITH OTHER SUBJECTS Music PHSE Citizenship English Speaking and Listening Humanities Finally students to present the image, thought track and narration. Was pleased with the Learning outcomes. Nearly all students had achieved everything.
