major zones of mining. Based on the properties and capacity of the mining method chosen, a list of equipment type

• Assembled miniature robotic car with robotic navigation system, IR line-following sensors, object recognition
sensors, and contact sensors. Promoting autonomous open pit haulage systems (AHS) in the mining industry, used
C programming software to program the robot to autonomously navigate any given “maze” to demonstrate robot’s
autonomous ability to navigate, avoid obstacles, and operate in a team of robots to simulate group tasks such as
load-haul-dump system, underground crushing and haulage system, or a mine rescue scenario.

• Assisted a small team pouring foundations for a new ski lift on Whistler
Mountain. This Lift was situated in a high alpine extreme environment
with no room for error. Helicopter cement pouring and long distance
pipe pouring where the main application methods.
• With a small team of four all six foundations, each ten meters cubed of
concrete, where completed in two months in very extreme terrain.
• Tools that where mandatory for this job where; rebar bending machine,
power tools, plate compactor, and forklift.

• Accelerated as an integral part of an Exploration team based out of
Dease Lake B.C. on a fly in, fly out schedule. Using induced
polarization we would identify anomalies and set geologic sample lines

samples per day.

• In a team of five we were assigned to create a machine that would crush and sort three
different sized cans, count their respected sizes and all be under 50 lbs. Under my
supervision we took another step and used only bicycle power. The hardest part of this
project was adapting the rotational bicycle power into the translational power we needed to
crush cans.
