I’m Jesus Loeza and I graduated from Santa
Barbara High School in 2013. Go Dons! My major
is Mechanical Engineering and I hope to transfer
to my dream school, Cal Poly SLO, in hopes of
becoming one of the next Aerospace Engineers.
Some of my hobbies include fishing, football (go
Colts!), and basketball (go Lakers!) I have a lot of
experience tutoring that I got from SBHS as a
math tutor for 2 years, and I can tutor just about

Hello, my name is Anji Trujillo and I received my
B.S. in chemistry at Humboldt State University in
the fall of 2014. I was born and raised in Santa
Barbara and attended Santa Barbara High School
where I graduated in 2007. I decided to moved
onto Santa Barbara City College where I found my
love for chemistry, math, and physics. I transferred to Humboldt State University and was extremely involved in research, clubs, and even
worked on wildlife projects. My love for science,
teaching, and research lead me to University of
Wisconsin-Madison were I will be working on obtaining my PhD in the Chemistry Department. Santa Barbara City College was the best experience of
my undergraduate career and I am excited to
work at the STEM center for the next few months.

Julian Carachure
My name is Julian Carachure, I am majoring in
Computer Engineering. This is my third year at
Santa Barbara and I plan to transfer to UCLA or
UCSB. I graduated from Lompoc High School in
2012; even though I commute everyday from
Lompoc I do give it my all to maintain my GPA
at or above a 3.50. I was placed in MATH 107
and worked my way all the way up to the 200
series so I have a deep understanding of Mathematics. I have obtain experience tutoring in
mathematics by making study groups and
getting a chance to tutor one on one and
sometimes a big group when it was necessary.
