IvyCat: the Library catalog
IvyCat is a database that provides a listing of the
print resources available through the Ivy Tech
Library and links to over 100,000 electronic
books. Ebooks are full-text electronic versions of
printed books that can be read online and are
available 24 hours a day.

Some ebook databases allow you to download

containing articles and other works on virtually

 Health & Wellness Resource Center:
Comprehensive resource for full-text articles on

 ProQuest: Full-text articles from social science,
nursing, and vocational-technical journals.
 JSTOR: Over a thousand full-text journals in the
arts & sciences and business.
 NewsBank: Has local, national, and
international newspapers, with American
historical newspapers dating back to 1690.
 Opposing Viewpoints: Comprehensive source
for information on controversial social issues.

or journal? IvyJo is an online tool that lets you know
if a specific magazine, journal, or newspaper is
available in any of Ivy Tech’s online databases.
