Tommy Barbarella, keyboard
Over past two decades, Tommy Barbarella has made his mark composing, touring,
recording and performing with the likes of Prince, Art Garfunkel, Jonny Lang and
Mavis Staples. He has contributed his talents to Hollywood features by iconic
directors like Spike Lee, Robert Altman and Marc Forester.
A world-class keyboardist, composer, producer and arranger, Tommy has
numerous Gold and Platinum records to his credit and has toured the world many
times over. A first-call session musician, his keyboard work can be heard on
recordings by artists as diverse as Switchfoot, Backstreet Boys, Ziggy Marley, Love
& Rockets, David Sylvian, Miley Cyrus, Italian superstar Giorgia and many more.
Recently, Tommy toured and recorded with Nick Jonas, endearing himself to
legions of screaming teens and soccer moms.
Jeffrey Bailey, bass
Jeff Bailey has performed in a wide variety of musical settings as a musician,
composer, and producer. He has performed with world renowned Jazz artists:
Captain Jack McDuff, Craig Taborn, James Carter, Nachito Herrera, Eric Garvat,
Rodney Jones, Dave King, Brian Lynch, Wessel Anderson, Peruvian Guitar master
Andres Prado, and James Moody. Never one to be pigeonholed into one style, Jeff
has also toured/performed with: Keri Noble, Joey McIntyre(NKOTB), Tommy
Barbarella(Prince), Charles Lazarus(MN Orchestra), Reverend Billy Steele, Jennifer
Kimball, Heather Headley, and Charley Drayton. Jeff has also logged time on the
road touring and giving clinics in the U.S., Germany, France, Italy, South America
and Japan. Jeff has served as musical director for Keith Antar Mason and the
Hittite Empire and the Black Fathers and Sons project at the B.A.M. Next Wave
Festival in New York, with photographer Albert Chong and writer Quincy Troupe.
Jeff has also recieved accolades for producing a Minnesota Music Award winning
CD for Alicia Wiley, receiving a Best of the Twin Cities Award as a founding member
of Moveable Feast, and a Minnesota Music Award nomination for best Bass Player
of the Year.
Craig Hara, drums
Craig Hara is a multi-faceted musician, educator and producer, playing Trumpet,
Drums, Percussion, EVI (Electronic Valve Instrument), Guitar, Keyboards and
Synthesizers.
He can be heard on recordings and in live performance with various artists and
groups (Laura Caviani, Mary Louise Knutson, Charles Lazarus, David Milne, River
Falls Brass, the David Singley trio, Pete Whitman, The Zebra Mussels, Zona, the La
Crosse Symphony, the Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra, the Asia America
Symphony, the Bach Society, the Minnesota Orchestra, the Minnesota Opera,
VocalEssence), on scores for motion pictures and television (Solstice, The Legend
of EarthSea, Netforce, Chicago Hope, High Incident, Face/Off, Time Cop,
Speechless, Death Wish IV), and has performed in North America, Japan, and
Europe with many of the world's most eminent musicians (Leonard Bernstein, José
Carreras, Kiri Te Kanawa, Zubin Mehta, Itzhak Perlman, Helmut Rilling, Michael
Tilson Thomas, John Williams, Louis Bellson, David Benoit, Bill Conti, Stanley
Clarke, Chick Corea, Michael Davis, Mark Isham, Chuck Mangione, Bob Minzter,
Doc Severinsen, Sarah Vaughn, Ernie Watts).
Craig holds degrees from the California Institute of the Arts, and is on faculty at the
University of Wisconsin at River Falls, and Hamline University.
