Pep Rallies
Pep Rallies are always fun and entertaining, like the one we had last
semester. Not only do pep rallies
get the student
not participating
in the sport out
of class, but it
motivates the
athletes participating to do
their best. Ms. Dubois’s Jazz
Band plays, activities are in
action, the cheerleaders
cheer and some of our favorite teachers get up to
embarrass themselves, which is
always fun to
watch. The high
school athletes come to give their
speeches about their experiences
from when they were in middle
school, to encourage the students
to follow their
dreams.
Pep
rallies are a fun
and great way to
show support for
our teams and to inspire students
to try their best in whatever they
put their effort into. We look forward to seeing what the pep rally
that is happening this semester
will hold!

School Dance
January 15th. What’s so special about that date, besides that it is a Friday? January
15th is the date of the first HGMS 2015-2016 dance! Get ready for a winter
wonderland themed dance put on by Stu-Co. So put on your dresses, tuxes, or
whatever you plan to wear, grab $2-$3 and meet in the courtyard to get your jig
on!

You may or may not have heard
of Jimmy Johns, but you’ve heard and
seen many commercials
about Subway. Many people
believe that Subway is the superior Sandwich shop. But I
disagree. The only reason
those people think that is
probably because; one, never been to
Jimmy Johns, and two, probably never
even heard of it. I myself can say this is
true. I had no clue Jimmy Johns was a
Sandwich shop, until I had this debate
of course.
So I actually went to Jimmy Johns
and they’re actually pretty good. They
have some sandwiches Subway
doesn’t that are absolutely delicious and mouthwatering. Plus
you can just say something like;
“I’ll have a number three with tomatoes and extra lettuce.” But at
Subway you have to go through the long
process of the ‘what do I want game?’
Therefore, Jimmy Johns is better.

Subway is a healthy sandwich
restaurant. As their commercial says
“eat fresh”, on debate.org more people prefer Subway over Jimmy Johns, nineteen people
choose subway while only
four people choose Jimmy
Johns, because subway has
lots of healthy choices and
you can get whatever you want. Subways food quality is good because
their vegetables are fresh and they also give you an opportunity to get all
the vegetables you desire.

You also have options on what bread
you want; they have Italian to whole
wheat bread. Here is a fact about Subway; there are about thirty seven
million different sandwich combinations. So when you are starving
and you want a sandwich but you
don’t want to go to a gas station
and spend $5.00 on a little baloney sandwich, just go to subway and get
the $5 dollar foot long with any bread,
any meat, any vegetables, and any sauce
at Subway.
