ABOUT FBINAA WHO WE ARE The FBI National Academy Associates, Inc. (FBINAA) is a non-profit, international organization of nearly 18,000 senior law enforcement professionals dedicated to providing our communities, states, countries, and profession with the highest degree of law enforcement expertise, training, education and information. We are the strongest law enforcement leadership network in the world and are dedicated to strengthening the rule of law around the globe. It is at the chapter level where our members and their families are professionally, socially, and personally linked to each other and their region’s law enforcement leadership network. Chapters host various training events throughout the year and provide awards, recognition and benefits to their members. n I had no idea what an impact it (membership) would have on me and my department twelve years later. We all treasure our memories from National Academy, and as graduates we know it is the premier executive training program in the world. This dynamic group stays connected through our private social network – Network FBINAA, our website - FBINAA.ORG, our bi-monthly publication - National Academy Associate magazine, our monthly newsletter, and our FBINAA Mobile Membership APP. n YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM The FBINAA hosts a summer training event for high school students at the FBI Academy called the Youth Leadership Program (YLP). This program mirrors, on a youth level, the National Academy Program. YLP is made possible through the cooperation of the FBI and sponsorships by Alliances and Chapters. Students must have demonstrated high academic standards and good citizenship to be nominated by the local Chapter for this prestigious program. n FBINAA’S CHARITABLE FOUNDATION Charitable – The charitable purpose of our Foundation is to provide relief for association members and their families who are in unusually dire circumstances, due to calamity, debilitating hardships or illnesses, natural disaster, or other terrible circumstances to include a member’s on-duty death or serious injury and to the members and family members of other FBI affiliated nonprofit law enforcement associations. Educational
– The educational purpose of our Foundation is to offer scholarships for educational and professional development opportunities to members of the Association and/or their children and grandchildren, and to members of other FBI affiliated nonprofit law enforcement associations and their children. Scientific – The initial scientific purpose of our Foundation is to establish a Law Enforcement\Criminal Justice Science and Innovation Award to annually recognize an individual or organization that has made the most significant overall contribution to the profession through the introduction of a new or significantly improved law enforcement\criminal justice product, technology, process or technique. n KNOWLEDGE | COURAGE | INTEGRITY fbinaa.org | FBI National Academy ASSOCIATES, INC. ANNUAL TRAINING CONFERENCE & EXPO ANNUAL TRAINING CONFERENCE & LAW ENFORCEMENT EXPO The Annual Training Conference and Law Enforcement Expo attracts approximately 2,000 attendees, consisting of delegates, guests, professionals from various law enforcement organizations, guest speakers and alliance partners. The annual conference has a long history of providing delegates with a robust agenda of informative training seminars on law enforcement in the 21st Century. The law enforcement expo allows conference delegates to browse nearly two hundred vendors, many of which are our alliances, and learn about new and innovative products, training, technology and services available for use in their organizations and departments. Members look forward to this energizing conference which affords them the opportunity to further their knowledge by attending the many training session available and to reconnect with colleagues, who have now become their lifelong friends. n STRATEGIC ALLIANCES WHAT YOUR ALLIANCE REPRESENTS OUR FBINAA MEMBER NETWORK The FBINAA is built on the foundation of knowledge, courage and integrity. Our annual YLP focuses on weeklong instruction for 60 participants which mirrors the prestigious National Academy program for select participants ages 14-16.
