Business Development Intern Global Poverty Project is working on a number of campaigns to end extreme poverty, including the Global Citizen Festival and social justice events throughout 2014. This year, the campaigns are focused around the core policy areas of vaccines, youth, global education and sanitation. We are looking for a passionate and professional individual to join the Business Development Team. Responsibilities Assist BD Manager and Head of Business Development with: • • • • • Tasks related to managing and building Global Citizen partnerships. Helping to ensure BD assets are accurate and effective. Work with BD manager to check messaging, clarity and accuracy of documents, marketing materials and onsite activation materials. Compiling partnership updates and reports for Global Citizen team, partners, sponsors and vendors. Other BD-related administrative duties, including scheduling travel, organizing files and keeping notes during meetings, as requested from time to time. Manage the reception desk Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • • • • • • • • • Proven interest in international development and economic empowerment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills. Professional demeanor and ability to interact successfully with a wide range of individuals. Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality and non-disclosure of all information including contacts and correspondence. Ability to quickly digest and analyze complex information and recommend responses. Comfortable assisting with a variety of tasks, including simple administrative activities Can-do attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done. Friendly, flexible, confident and assertive personality, with a sense of humor.
