Geographic Information Systems Specialist
Employed to collect geographic data in the field, create geodatabases, perform
geospatial analysis, georeference previously collected data and create maps for
publication.
Texas Tech University Archaeology Lab
Laboratory Supervisor
Employed to supervise the operations of the Texas Tech University Archaeology
Laboratory. Train students on laboratory methods and technique. Oversee the
processing and analyzing of cultural materials.
Camp Howze Survey Project

Volunteered to assist in the direction of t he ongoing survey of Camp
Howze a temporary WW2 base and POW camp in Gainesville , TX.
Duties include planning of the project, d irecting field crew, spatial
analysis, archaeological and geographic data collection, cartography.
Well Excavation Project
GIS specialist and Field Crew
Volunteered to assist in the excavation of wells in Washingt on County
and Cooke County, TX. Duties included geographic data collection in the
2012- Present
field, making profile maps and overhead maps of the wells, screening,
and artifact analysis.

Field, Lab Director and GIS Specialist
Served as the field director and GIS specialist of the excavations of the
McAdoo plantation home during the 2012 Texas Tech Archaeological
Field School in Washington, TX. Currently serving as the director of
laboratory research for the project. This project is the focus of thesis
research. Duties include planning of the project, directing students and
staff, archaeological and geographic data collection, input and analysis.
Field Crew
Volunteered for the ongoing Peaceable Kingdom Survey Project located
near Washington, TX. The Peaceable Kingdom property houses a wide
array of archaeological sites including prehistoric and historic sites.
Duties included shovel testing and collecting artifacts.
Field Crew
Volunteered for the Camp Wood Survey project. Camp Wood was a
military fort occupied during the Spanish Colonial era until the Civil War
era located in Camp Wood, TX. Duties included performing shovel tests
and collecting cultural material.
Field and Laboratory Crew
Employed during the final stages of the reconstruction of the Presidio
San Saba in Menard, TX. Duties included preforming shovel tests prior
the construction of a parking lot and re -excavation of units to aide in
reconstruction. Laboratory duties included analysis of cultural mater ial
from the project.
Laboratory Assistant Director and Field School Student
Attended the 2010 Florida Atlantic University Archaeology field school
located in Salango, Ecuador. Appointed as Laboratory Assistant
Director. Duties included organization of lab materials and artifacts also
oversaw the proper cleaning and reconstruction of cultural Material. Assisted in
the excavation of human remains and structural remains.
Laboratory Assistant
Employed in the anthropology and archaeology laboratory at the Utah Natural
History Museum located on the University of Utah campus. Duties included
inventory and preservation of artifacts in the laboratory and assisting the
anthropology department in moving artifacts to the new museum facilities.

Assisted in the instruction of Introduction to Cultural Anthropology,
Anthropology at the Movies, Introduction to Language and Linguistics,

graded coursework and exams, met with students during office hours
and upon request, preformed guest lectures, and substitute instruction.
Taught all sections of the Understanding Multi -Cultural America course
