Archaeology Summer Preparation Archaeology is the study of human activity in the past. (We don’t do dinosaurs- just humans.) Get a broad understanding of the chronology of human activity. Unit 2- Archaeological techniques This unit looks at the methods archaeologists use to uncover the past- watch a Time Team episode on 4OD and make brief notes on the methods used for example– Historical sources/ Geophysics/ Excavation techniques/ Analysis of finds/ Dating methods.
