Top sets begin with a transition unit Biomimicry bridging key
stage 3 to GCSE. They then begin GCSE in the late autumn
term covering units such as:
Cell Biology
Organisation
Atomic Structure and the periodic table
Bonding and structure
Forces
Energy
The rest of the year group follow the Segue scheme until
February taught through contexts such as:
Hollywood
Rich
Reconstructors
Metahumans.
They will then complete a transition unit Biomimicry bridging
key stage 3 to GCSE, followed by GCSE units on Cell
biology, Atomic structure and Forces.
