Operations
Total Uganda has been supplying Jet Aviation Fuel for over
four decades to international and regional customers at
Entebbe Airport.
The Entebbe Airport Joint Depot is managed by one of the
facility participants who is currently Total Uganda. The site
manager is responsible for managing stocks in the facility,
quality checks and management. The facility is operational
24 hours, 7 days a week.
Through our association with Air Total International and its
leader status in Europe and Africa, we have a strategic position
in the aviation market, guaranteeing our customers high
insurance coverage and a worldwide Total network at more
than 250 international airports in 70 countries
on 5 continents.
We are long standing members of IATA through Air
Total International.
Safety
Total is a founding member of the international Joint
Inspection Group (JIG). The mission of JIG is to promote
safety, quality control and efficiency at aviation fuel facilities
and develop greater global standardisation of aviation
fuel operating standards. JIG establishes Aviation fuel
quality control and operating standards endorsed by IATA.
International Oil companies perform inspections of their airport
facilities to ensure that they are operated in accordance with
JIG procedures.
Our dedicated Entebbe Operation Crew is highly skilled and
trained enabling us to set the highest safety and services
standards in the industry. Each of our technicians not only
undergoes specialized training but also receives hands-on
practical experience at our Training School in France.
