In addition to the IAI courses listed above, students need to complete additional Mennonite College of Nursing
prerequisite courses that are not currently a part of the IAI program.
These Purdue at Calumet courses include:
*BIOL 213-Human Anat & Phys I, *BIOL 214-Human Anat & Phys II, *FN 30300-Essentials of Nutr
The following MCN prerequisite courses NOT offered by Purdue at Calumet, but are required for admission. These
courses, as listed in the Illinois State Catalog:
* Medical Terminology (which must transfer into ISU as HSC 102), *Microbiology (which must transfer into ISU as
BSC 160), *Statistics (which must transfer into ISU as ECO 138 or MQM 100)
Students are also encouraged to complete a course that transfers into Illinois State as a global studies course
(see ISU catalogue for course description).
Students are expected to work closely with their Perdue at Calumet advisor to ensure that they are meeting all
required coursework. It is ultimately the responsibility of the student to complete all coursework necessary
for admission. Also, students need to check the www.itransfer.org website frequently as there are periodic
changes in the courses that become designated as IAI courses.
“This worksheet applies to courses completed Summer 2014, Fall 2014, Spring 2015 and Summer 2015.”
