SALE OF GYPSUM BASED WALL PANEL, PLASTER, PUTTY AND P.O.P
The Fertilisers & Chemicals Travancore Ltd (FACT), Udyogamandal, Kochi and Rashtriya
Chemicals & Fertilisers Ltd. (RCF), Mumbai have formed a joint venture company under the
name FACT-RCF Building products Limited. (FRBL) with registered office at Kochi, Kerala.
This company has setup a plant at Kochi for the manufacture of Gypsum based wall panel and
building materials. FACT and RCF are two central public sector undertakings under Ministry of
Chemicals and Fertilizers, Govt. of India and are engaged in the business of manufacturing and
marketing of Fertilisers and various chemicals.
FACT has huge stock of gypsum, which is produced along with production of phosphoric acid
and stockpiled in its two operating divisions at Kochi. Main product of this company is Glass
Fibre Reinforced Gypsum (GFRG) load bearing panels. These panels can replace brick walls in
building construction there by effecting considerable savings in cement, sand, steel and water.
FRBL has set up Rapidwall manufacturing Plant, with an installed capacity of 1.4 million sq mts
per year to produce load bearing wall panel called Rapidwall and (i) 1,00,000 MT of Plaster of
Paris (POP): (ii) 40000 MT of Interior wall putty : and (iii) 24000 MT of Interior wall plaster
Appointment of distributors
FRBL invites applications for the appointment of distributors in all the states and Union
Territories of India. In the state of Kerala appointment shall be for each district and in all other
states \ Union Territories, the appointment shall be state wise. However, FRBL reserves the
right to appoint one or more distributors in each district (In Kerala) or state as the case may be.
Parties to be appointed as authorised distributors shall have to enter into distribution
agreement for sale of gypsum based wall panel, plaster, putty and p.o.p manufactured by FRBL.
The parties should have good contact with builders, contractors, chain of retailers. Those who
are willing to pay an amount of Rs 10,000 (Rupees ten thousand only) as non-refundable
registration charges and furnish Interest - free Deposit of Rs.40,000 (Rupees forty thousand only)
[by way of RTGS\ NEFT \ Demand Draft for the distributorship in favour of FACT-RCF Building
products Limited (FRBL)] may apply.
FRBL reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason.

The major terms and conditions of the distributorship are given below :
1. The appointment of distributor shall be on state wise except in Kerala where it shall be district
wise. However, FRBL reserves the right to appoint more than one distributor in a district or state,
as the case may be, depending upon the business potentiality.
2. The distributor \ s shall be our seller in that district or the state as the case may be. All the sales
in that particular district or state shall be only through the exclusive distributor \ s. However, FRBL
shall have the right to (a) supply products directly to a customer initiallyfor aperiod of one year
and (b) execute projects undertaken with GFRG panels by FRBL, without giving any
compensation to a distributor.
3. Where there is no distributor in a particular district or state, the sales in that district or state will be
directly by the Company till a distributor is appointed.
4. An amount of Rs 10,000 be paid as non-refundable registration charges by each party for each
area.
5. They should also furnish an interest free deposit of Rs 40,000 (Rupees forty thousand only) for
the distributorship of WALL PANEL, PLASTER, PUTTY AND P.O. P. for each area.
6. The period of distributor ship shall be for a period of one year.
7. The discount as per the approved discount structure, for the sales of Panels \ Plaster \ Putty \
POP in the respective districts or state will be given only for the sales through the distributor.
However, where FRBL directly sells the products to the customers, the discount shall be paid to
the respective customer and not to the distributor.
8. Sales shall be on “Delivery Against Payment” basis.
9. Delivery shall be FOB from our factory. One panel of 12 x 3 meter shall be cut into two pieces
free of charges. For extra cutting, charges shall be levied as applicable.
10. In case of more applicants from the same district \ state, past purchase \ marketing performance
of the FRBL products by the applicant shall be given weightage.
11. In case FRBL executes projects directly using its own material, no compensation will be given to
the distributors.

15-03-2015. Based on the details received, responding parties shall be evaluated, qualified and short
listed for participation in distributorship.
