As a family firm and first Bavarian and Munich-based tap
fittings manufacturer, SANtec Vertriebsgesellschaft is flexible

SANtec Vertriebs GmbH has developed many technical
solutions which provide efficient savings in water and energy.
Using our tap fittings not only can the pollutants from
filtration pants and water courses be considerably reduced,
but also the costs of water preparation.

Dirty taps in public, commercial and private washrooms are
one of the main causes of infection.
Traditional twin tap mixers carry much more bacteria,
germs and fungal spores than contact-free sensor taps.
Wet and dirty twin taps are a detriment to manual hygiene
because hands are repeatedly in contact with them; they
help colds and flu epidemics to develop.
If for instance at weekends or holiday times water is left in
the pipes over long periods, more germs and bacteria are
formed.
Here is why you should use SANtec tap fittings:
1. Contact-free taps prevent infection.
2. Hygiene rinse – can be activated or deactivated by
remote control.Taps are automatically full-rinsed every
12 hours.

Mixer: All mixers are designed for a particular application
and are made of chromed brass.
Sensor: The sensor beam is directed horizontally forward.
The benefit: If something falls into the wash basin, and the
user tries to grab it, there is no flow of water. On cleaning
and rubbing dry a basin there is again no flow of water.
Vandal proof: If the sensor is glued up or covered with
something, the electronics automatically stop water flow after
about one minute.
Sensor range: Automatic sensor range adjustment. In the
case of the “SPECIAL” wall-mounted tap fittings, the range can
be adjusted for extended mixers using remote control.
Electronics/controls: On the “STANDARD” and
“LABORATORY” wash basin fittings the controls are on the
water supply (angle valve).The benefit: Ease of access to the
operational parts as well as easy battery replacement.
On the “COMFORT” fitting the electronics is built in to the
mixer.The battery is easily accessed outside the fitting.
On the “SPECIAL” wall-mounted fitting the electronics and
the battery are housed in a stainless steel casing and therefore have added protection from external sources.
Battery: SANtec fittings are powered using standard
6V batteries. Battery life is – depending on use – 3-5 years.
Disposal is straightforward.

What is special about SANtec tap fittings?

By comparison:Traditional tap fittings use up to 10 litres of
water on hand wash.
Mains operation: We recommend mains operation for
wash basins in heavy use.There are mains plug adaptors as
well as adaptors for operating up to 5 taps.
Constant temperature: For public washrooms with hot
and cold water supply we offer a permanent temperature
setting on our tap fittings of about 30°C.This temperature
is pleasantly comfortable and also gives optimum hand
cleansing.
Customer service/replacement parts:
The construction of the tap fittings ensures a minimum in customer service and replacement part requirements. Standard
parts are used.
Environment: All parts may be easily detached, are almost
100% gradeable and are recyclable for the foreseeable future.
