Transfer Up to 120 Credits to the
BS in Technical Management
BS in Technical Management
- Technical Communication
DeVry will accept a maximum of 120 credits
from any AAS-T or AAS degree from
LWIT.
Once accepted to DeVry, the BS in Technical
Management may take 2 or more years to
complete.
The Technical Management program leads
students to a supervisory or management
position in their chosen field of
specialization.
Pre-requisites of English Composition
(ENGL& 101) and College Algebra (Math
111) can be completed either at DeVry or at
LWIT.
Students must select one of the following 12
specializations:
- Accounting or Finance
- Business Information Systems
- Health Information Management
- Health Services Management
- Hospitality Management
- Human Resource Management
- Operations Management
- Project Management
- Sales and Marketing
- Security Management
Grants and State Funded Programs
The following grants and state-funded
programs are available at DeVry University:
1. The Academic Competitiveness Grant—
Available to first-and second-year
students who completed a rigorous high
school curriculum, and have been
awarded a Pell Grant. Awards based on
available funding.
2. Military Service Grant—Available to
students who are called to active duty
during the course of their studies. Awards
based on available funding.
3. Veterans Appreciation Grant—Awarded
to students that have completed military
service and have been honorably

4. Federal Pell Grant Programs—Awarded

of hours enrolled and the Federal Pell
Grant program regulations. Awards based

5. Federal Supplemental Educational
Opportunity Grant (SEOG)—Awarded
“first-come, first-served” to students who
don’t already have a bachelor’s degree.
SEOG is a need-based grant program that
is funded by the federal government.

 How is financial need determined?
When you complete the FAFSA, the
federal government sends your FAFSA
information to DeVry University’s Student
Finance Office. The student finance advisors
use this information to assess your need.
 What is included in a financial award?
 7,500 scholarships totaling $29 million
available each year
 More than 90% of graduates employed in
their field of study within six months of
graduation
Three types of need-based aid may be
awarded: scholarships, grants, and
subsidized student loans. DeVry also offers
some merit-based awards, including the
Dean’s Scholarship and the Presidential
Scholarship.

- Completed application for admission
- $50 non-refundable application fee
- Interview with an admission advisor
- At least 17 years old
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Official transcripts from every high
school, college, or university attended
- Complete at least 18 college credit
