Each year, the JOBMASTER team extends its maximum efforts to produce a fruitful and enriching experience, between corporations, companies, institutes, and match them with corresponding aspiring businessmen and women.

In what is now a transitioning Egypt, it is important to govern all aspects that could potentially enhance the economy, and we deem that by matching individuals to respective professions could achieve just that.

THE GERMAN SCHOOL IN DOKKI (DEO)

The German School in Dokki (DEO) was founded in 1873 on a piece of land donated by Khedewi Ismail, and ever since has been considered one of the leading schools in Egypt, providing the best possible education to its students.

The school moved to Zamalek in 1953 and then moved to Dokki, to its current location in 1977. DEO is located on an area of 31,500 m2 and includes in its facilities several international-standard class rooms, laboratories, PE facilities, swimming pool, theatre, and playgrounds.

The School provides tuition from Kindergarten to High school, and supports the Thanawya Amma and Abitur systems.

DEO is a very important and pivotal cultural center in Cairo where around 1,200 students of different nationalities and backgrounds learn together and from each other, Alongside Egyptian and German students, the DEO hosts Austrian, Swiss, and many other nationalities.

With a heritage of almost 130 years, DEO helps cultivate the character of its students in many ways, and this is clearly evident in the school’s activities that take place throughout the school year such as: Film evenings, concerts, projects days, the X-mas bazaar, sports activities, social activities, and much more.

The school generates not only a knowledgeable person, but helps develop a full character ready to Endeavour in any field.

THE GERMAN SCHOOL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION (VEDEO)

The Alumni Association of the German School in Dokki (VEDEO) was established in 1975 to provide services to the graduated of the German

School across all disciplines.

The VEDEO provides several services to the Alumni and these include the bazaar, X-mas ball, sport activities, employment fairs, and many other activities.

The VEDEO is extremely active in getting the DEO graduates together and is supported by a very professional team of volunteers, a web-site, and a comprehensive database.

The VEDEO-JOBMASTER Employment Fair is one of the several initiatives of the VEDEO and is held on the DEO premises on annual basis.

In1998, Vodafone Egypt (Ex Misrfone Telecommunication Company/Click GSM) entered the Egyptian telecom market as the second operator; a consortium between Vodafone international, Air Touch, and local/ international partners. In 1999, Vodafone Group acquired Air Touch share and in 2002, it acquired International Partner VIVENDI France share. In January 2002, Click GSM was rebranded to Vodafone Egypt. Since 2007,

Vodafone Egypt’s shareholders structure consisted of Vodafone Group with 54.93% ;

Telecom Egypt with 44.94% and a minority free float of 0.13%.

2006 witnessed another important step as Vodafone Egypt launched its off-shore operations under the name of Vodafone International Services. This subsidiary is dedicated to outsourcing business processes and IT services for Vodafone operators and beyond. Both its Business Process Outsourcing & Information Technology Outsourcing business units have seen success year after year with over 2,200 employees who collectively speak ten different languages to provide world class customer and technical support for customers in 80 countries.

To complement its wide set of voice and mobile internet services, Vodafone Egypt completed a full acquisition of Raya Telecom in June 2007; a step that complemented

Vodafone’s mobile communications capabilities with Raya’s expertise in fixed-line data communication and corporate solutions.

Expanding its service offerings further, Vodafone acquired Sarmady in 2008; a company established in 2001 and has grown ever since to dominate some of Egypt’s most popular internet content and services, both fixed and mobile.
