Our topic: Integrating Acquisitions – Lessons Learned
Many companies in the Consumer Goods industry have grown by acquiring brands and products.
For the J. M. Smucker Company, this strategy has been a primary growth driver and has helped propel the company from a $650 million organization in 2002 to a projected $4.5 billion enterprise in FY2010. In this session, CIO Andy Platt will discuss how the company integrates acquisitions from a business process and technology perspective while preserving the company's unique culture.
