(December 4, 2013) – The Princeton Review, one of the nation’s learning test prep and education services companies, today signed an expanded partnership agreement with Knowledge Factor, Inc., the provider of amplifire, its adaptive, digital study tool for the MCAT. In the next year, the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) exam will undergo significant changes. More than 50 percent of the current MCAT content will be updated, and two new sections will be added, making the test longer and much more difficult. This revised partnership enables The Princeton Review to fully update their suite of MCAT prep products and services, and bring them to market in time for the launch of the revised MCAT in January of 2015. Additionally, Knowledge Factor will work with instructional designers from The Princeton Review to identify areas where the test prep content in amplifire can be enhanced for greater learning efficacy. Since 2012, The Princeton Review has incorporated Knowledge Factor’s adaptive learning software, amplifire, into its robust MCAT test prep tool set. The software has proven instrumental in helping MCAT students prepare for their test because it is designed to help students to learn the breadth and depth of the information they need to know quickly, remember it accurately on the exam and be confident of their MCAT knowledge. “The Princeton Review MCAT course students tell us the number one reason they recommend The Princeton Review is our extensive course materials,” said Shadna Wise, AVP Product Management –The Princeton Review. “We are told continuously the interactive online Science Workbook powered by amplifire is fantastic and helps explain the difficult concepts exceptionally well.” Knowledge Factor will also implement the necessary modifications to allow the MCAT 2015 amplifire product to be delivered on iOS and Andorid mobile platforms, so that students can access the software on their mobile phone and tablets. “The Princeton Review is at the forefront of test prep strategies, and we are excited to help them continue to grow in the digital space with the new revisions to the MCAT,” said Bob Burgin, CEO of Knowledge Factor. “We are getting ahead of the game by working together and implementing a more difficult, but adaptive test prep software.” #### About amplifire Knowledge Factor’s amplifire — the most scientifically advanced learning software on the market — combines breakthroughs in neurobiology and cognitive psychology with big data analytics to create a powerful and personally adaptive learning experience.
