REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MINOR IN PSYCHOLOGY The Department of Psychology offers minors in Psychology and Neuroscience. Courses may not overlap to simultaneously satisfy upper division major and minor requirements. Courses may overlap to satisfy both minor and breadth requirements. NOTE: The lower-division requirements for the Psychology minor, along with at least two of the upper division courses must be completed prior to filing the Request to Declare a Minor. Lower-Division Requirements FOR THE PSYCHOLOGY MINOR PSYC 1 PSYC 2 PSYC 11 PSYC 12 ________________ ________________ _________________ _________________ PSYC 1, PSYC 2, and MATH 4, 5, or 8A with grades of C-or better are prerequisites for PSYC 11; PSYC 1, PSYC 2 and PSYC 11 with grades of C-or better and ENGL IB with a grade of C or better are prerequisites for PSYC 12. If you have taken equivalents to the lower division prerequisite courses at another institution, you may need to see a Psychology advisor to enroll in the upper division courses. UPPER DIVISION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MINOR PSYC 1, 2, 11, and 12 with grades of C-or better are the prerequisites for PSYC 132, PSYC 134, PSYC 140, PSYC 150, and PSYC 160, 161, 162, or 163.
