Marketing Manager for the Cavendish Consortium

Purpose /
Responsibilities
 Understand how Marketing fits into the organisation strategy and
integrates with other activities
 Develop and implement the Marketing strategy to meet the needs and
requirement of the changing business environment
 Act as a point of contact and provide advice and guidance to the
Cavendish Consortium Board on all Marketing policies and procedures
and participate in any formal processes as appropriate.
 Advise and work with the Cavendish Consortium Board, Operations
Group and partner teams on marketing and impact upon sales.
 Provide, on a monthly basis, accurate Marketing statistics including
reports on each element of the marketing mix including website,
referrals, social media & advertising etc.
 Monitor expenditure and activity and provide monthly updates on how
this has impacted upon brand awareness and sales of services &
products.
 Completing all necessary administration relating to all aspects of
marketing and brand awareness
 Ensure the Cavendish Consortium adheres to all current legislation
and work in accordance with agreed procedures
 To drive performance initiatives e.g. new ways and methods of selling
 Liaise with Cavendish Consortium partners to ensure all requirements
for materials and support for sales are met.
 Ensure marketing and brand awareness guidelines procedures are
followed by internal and external partners, reporting deviations as
appropriate.
 Have an in depth understanding of and comply with all mandatory
marketing standards set by funders.
 Action marketing requests from the Cavendish Consortium Board,
taking briefs provided and ensuring standard branded material fit for
the target audience within required timescales is released.
 Ensure all processes are carried out in accordance with the quality
procedures and update these procedures to reflect actual practice
where required.
 Regularly review and develop the marketing strategy in conjunction
with the Cavendish Consortium Board
 Have an understanding of marketing tactics employed by other
organisations that could be used to enhance Cavendish Consortium
marketing
 Pro-actively review and update Cavendish Consortium marketing
materials including website, literature and signage obtaining support on
content from delivery staff.
 Assist in the organisation of events
 Build and maintain relationships with all marketing suppliers to ensure
